IHBM6Not bad

When a devastating attack shatters Mark Hogancamp and wipes away all memories, no one expected recovery. Putting together pieces from his old and new life, Mark meticulously creates a wondrous town named Marwen where he can heal and be heroic. As he builds an astonishing art installation a testament to the most powerful women he knows through his fantasy world, he draws strength to triumph in the real one.

This is one of those times where it is tough to give a a rating to a movie. After all, in this movie there is a LOT to like. First and foremost, the acting is superb. I have long been a fan of Carrell in dramatic roles and I've never seen him more vulnerable than he is in this role. And the supporting actors - they are all superb and do a great job delivering a movie that is full of love and empathy. That said, at times it isn't a great watch. I think that what they did with the live-action dolls was commendable... at times (especially the last sequence) they went on for too long.
