When young priest Jud Duplenticy is sent to assist charismatic firebrand Monsignor Jefferson Wicks, its clear that all is not well in the pews. After a sudden and seemingly impossible murder rocks the town, the lack of an obvious suspect prompts local police chief Geraldine Scott to join forces with renowned detective Benoit Blanc to unravel a mystery that defies all logic.

This movie checked two important boxes: It is a mystery where the audience could figure it out if they paid attention, and Daniel Craig’s accent was actually pretty good (it was distracting in the first movie). The only problem that I had with the movie is that they kept telling us that the crime was impossible to solve, which is ridiculous.
