On the surface, this movie has a ton going for it. For starters, Alda and Burnett. And I think that it has a really great central theme that shows how relationships, ideas, friendships, etc, can grow stale through the decades. Despite all of that, the film is just ok. It works best in its dramatic moments, but the good ones are too few.
