The current dating landscape is bleak at best and no one is more aware of this than Mackenzie, a disillusioned 25-year old law student whose love life consists of non-committal hookups and situationships from hell. When she has a real life meet-cute with Finn, a handsome and charming journalist who isnt afraid to show affection, she starts to believe true love may actually exist. When Finns dark side begins to emerge, Mackenzie finds herself trapped in a tumultuous and depleting cycle of emotional abuse, and must confront whether her true love is too good to be true after all.

The first third of this movie wasn't too bad. We saw the standard setup: a girl has a hard time finding a decent guy. She finally finds one, and..... yeah..... the movie falls apart. The second half of the movie is a train wreck. Worse, it is a highly annoying train wreck. We've all had a friend who was making a terrible dating choice, and we all know how annoying it is to here them defend it. Now imagine taking that frustration and putting it into a movie. There is a small twist in the end, but it doesn't change or improve anything that came before it.
