Friends and Strangers follows two middle class wanderers in a dryly comic exploration of inner Sydney.

Its never a good sign when a movie peeks ten minutes in. Unfortunately, we meet the most interesting character in the movie in the opening scenes... and then she is gone. We are left with a slice-of-life movie that has us following a guy that is lost and unmotivated and - not surprisingly - not all that interesting. If hearing a slacker have mediocre conversations is your thing, then you are in for a treat.
