I really enjoyed this movie. Yes, this whole thing has been done a little better in other movies (The Before Sunrise series comes to mind). But there is something really special about seeing a movie where two actors that have excellent chemistry go on a road trip. The result can be an intimacy that is palpable. In these kinds of situations there has to be some kind of conflict between the two leads - in this movies the characters differ on their feelings about politics. At times it felt unnecessary, but whatever. In the end it still worked.
